We converted a single car garage/workshop into a entertaining Area/guest room. It is now a space to play music, entertain friends and have company spend the night out in the county. What a transformation! Click photos to enlarge.

This space, we removed a single car garage door, added new tape, float and texture, a fresh coat of paint, a 6 foot window in place of the garage door, and new recessed lighting.

After removing the built in shelving and repairing the drywall we had it taped, floated and textured and lastly painted.

This guest quarters has it all! A futon, vanity, hot running water, a place to eat and entertain their guests.

We removed this and a small water heater and placed a new vanity, sink and faucet in with a tankless water heater.

Door Before
This door was the entry to the soon to be guest house.

For budget reasons we kept the door but carefully removed the plastic framing on the window, repainted the door, added new hardware and window film for privacy.

After removing dirt and weeds we found a nice platform.

They use it as their firewood storage platform now.
Mini Split Before
This mini split was quite dirty. We cleaned the filters and outside and custom made a cover for the piping to the outside.

AC Unit Before
They want to keep this A/C for emergency backup that can run off a generator since their whole house is electric and in Texas so we are going to dress it up.

We custom built a box that fits over the A/C Unit. This unit can run with the box in place! How fancy is that!

Still some landscaping to do but we are going to wait till we add an covered entrance from the main house to the guest house.
